Closing Time

So yeah, seeing how slow traffic has been lately on both The Revolution Lifestyle and ZogDog, I decided to close down the blog and instead refocus my news efforts in our forums. I do not intend on reopening this blog up but you never know, if I come up with an idea then maybe I will consider reopening the blog. The traffic just isn't there right now and aside from a few stragglers, the blog is pretty much dead. The handful of people who did read what was posted on the blog, the same content including rumors, gaming news, tech stuff, etc will instead be posted in the regular forums so I hope you will join us there, perhaps for some healthy discussion.
With competition in the blogosphere so high and everyone's dwindling interest in reading blogs, it's a big waste of time to keep this blog up to date. Lots of interesting news out there and I will again continue my efforts in the forums. So when I find or anyone else find interesting stuff to post, it will be in the forums instead of this blog. Thank you for your support. I'll see you all in our forums!

This ends one of the best blogs I've come across for several years now.
I will continue to read on the forums but just wanted to say thank you for your efforts especially when it was just on the rumors of revolutionary new console from nintendo up until the change of content which was equally impressive.
Good Luck Kevin !!!

Well I guess that is what happens when you change the content several times in a short period, and lastly to something so obscure that most people don't care much about and you can't find much to post on. I really enjoyed your wii news a while back. It kept me hyped about the Wii. I even enjoyed your tech news quite a bit, but I have a feeling that you did all these changes because you really didn't like doing the blog anymore in any way... but you had so many loyal visitors, so instead of doing away with it, you fizzled it like you did. Sure it might have been subconscious, but you had to know that this would be the effect especially when you switched to covering rumors on gaming news which usualy doesn't have much and when it does isn't even trust worthy. And when there weren't as many viewers, you wouldn't feel bad about throwing in the towel, just as what has happened. Anyway, thanks for the blog when you were interested in it at least. You are awesome at gathering information, I just wish you saw more potential in your talents and were not so ADD with your subject matter. Your blog might be "yours" but if you are looking at traffic as a gage to deciding whether to keep it, then it really is no longer yours, but rather it belongs to both you and the readers, even those who were not members. Yet you only gave voice to the few that commented. Obviously if you had higher traffic, then you were doing something right, but oh well, I didn't get to see all the stats. Maybe one day you will start your own site that can get more publicity. Thanks again for making the last few years more exciting on the net.
